I have been riding for seven seasons now. I don't like to say years because, as you all know, in Maine we can't ride year round. Oh! Excuse me, except a brave few. I'm now riding an '06 Sportster 1200 two-tone black & white. I started out riding a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 blue. Learning to ride was not an easy feat for me. "Oh no!" But with my husband, David, urging me on and the support of the chapter, it's now a passion that I'm so happy I found. I live in Old Orchard Beach. I have three beautiful daughters and three grandchildren that bring me much joy. Besides the obvious, I love camping, boating, reading, both horror and spiritual material....I know...strange combination, and just plain being outside!

I got interested in riding when a couple of friends took the beginner's course six months before I did, and they encouraged me to do it too. I started riding a 650 Suzuki Savage in 2000 after completing the beginner's riding class at Old Orchard Beach High School. A year later, I joined SMPHOG after purchasing my first Harley, a silver Low Rider, and I am now on my third Harley and enjoying every minute of it.
